Key Programs
Pretty Packages
Fighting Pretty began by sending care packages, known as "Pretty Packages" full of mini boxing gloves of strength, cosmetics, fashion items and more to help women battling cancer feel strong and beautiful.
Since 2013, Fighting Pretty has sent over 20,000 Pretty Packages to women battling all types of cancer in 50 US states and 21 countries globally - and counting!
Strength & Beauty Program
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, cancer didn't care. Women were still facing chemo treatments, surgeries and appointments. However, they weren't allowed to bring friends and family in to support. Fighting Pretty stepped in and started working with hospitals, cancer clinics and support groups across the USA by sending Strength & Beauty Kits (gloves, lipstick and inspiration) straight to patients when they needed it most.
Since 2020, Fighting Pretty has impacted over 30,000 women in this program and continues to send hundreds of Strength & Beauty Kits every month.
Feel Good Events for Fighters
Fighting Pretty offers free events for women battling cancer every year just to be celebrated and pampered.
Our annual Beauty and Bubbles events have pampered over 150 women nationwide and partners with over 15 nail salons across the USA year over year with participating nail salons (like Frenchie's and Adore Nail Spa) and additional partners to provide refreshments.
Volunteer Opportunities
By working with corporations, volunteer groups and individuals who want to give back, Fighting Pretty has hosted over 2,000 volunteers to help put together Fighting Pretty Packages, Strength and Beauty Kits and Fighting Pretty Love Letters for women battling cancer.
Student Ambassador Teams
Fighting Pretty works with four collegiate groups at The Ohio State University, University of Missouri at Columbia (Mizzou), Bradley University, and DePaul University to spread our mission in their community.
Since 2015, together they have fundraised over $10,000 and impacted over 3,000 women battling cancer in their area!
Community Building
Fighting Pretty aims to connect women who have similar needs through their cancer journey. We offer several programs that continue to grow and help more and more women who need to feel strong and beautiful:
- Growing group of Brand Ambassadors who regularly share stories on our blog, in our Fighting Pretty through Cancer Facebook group and host events and workshops
- Monthly Fighting Pretty Virtual Events to discuss key topics for women to connect and learn
- Weekly "Cancer Hacks" emails to help navigate the craziness of cancer
