June 2025 marks 10 incredible years of partnership between Fighting Pretty and Deloitte, and we are overflowing with gratitude. Every year since 2015, we have been working with Deloitte during Cancer Survivor's Month to help more women battling cancer feel strong and beautiful! Have a look at our progress through the years!
It all started with a simple but powerful idea: to bring people together in service of something deeply meaningful. Dennis Quackenbush, a dedicated Deloitte LP Partner and Fighting Pretty board member, gathered a group of volunteers in Portland, Oregon for our very first Packing Party. Fighting Pretty wasn't even in their own office yet, so we hosted it at a WeWork location in downtown Portland. It was small, heartfelt, and full of energy. We had no idea just how much it would grow.
Since that first Packing Party, Deloitte teams in the flagship New York office and the local team in Portland, Oregon have stepped up in ways that continue to humble and inspire us. What began as a local gathering has grown into a nationwide effort with over 100 Deloitte volunteers participating in 2024 and 2025 year, from Portland to New York City, to help women in active cancer treatment feel seen, strong, and beautiful.
Our partnership with Deloitte has become more than a collaboration—it’s become a cornerstone of our mission. Every Impact Day reminds us that when people come together with love, intention, and purpose, real change happens. Together, we've made thousands of women feel not only supported but truly seen in one of the hardest chapters of their lives.
To the entire Deloitte family: thank you for standing with us, year after year, with strength, heart, and unwavering commitment. You are a vital part of the Fighting Pretty family, and we are so excited to continue this beautiful journey together.
