We are the first all-inclusive non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women worldwide, at any age, stage, or diagnosis, to combat the emotional side effects of cancer treatment. The pink boxing gloves are more than just a symbol—they are the heart of Fighting Pretty. When our founder, Kara, was first diagnosed, she was gifted a pair of pink boxing gloves as a reminder that she was strong and beautiful.
While she didn’t wear them to box, she brought them to every chemo session as her most powerful weapon against cancer’s emotional toll. Today, the mini boxing gloves delivered in every Strength & Beauty Kit serve as your personal reminder: you are fierce, you are strong, and you are ready to fight.

Whether you give your time, your resources, or your voice, you directly contribute to delivering the crucial emotional support found in our Strength & Beauty Kits and our global Fight Club community.
The primary goal of the project is to significantly expand Fighting Pretty’s impact, helping over 10,000 women battling cancer annually feel strong and beautiful through the delivery of Strength and Beauty Kits, Pretty Packages, and empowering events. Simultaneously, we aim to solidify our position as the #1 resource for beauty, fashion, fitness, and wellness solutions for cancer fighters, while increasing community engagement by driving 30% of recipients to join the rebranded Fight Club community. To sustain and grow this mission, the project includes ambitious fundraising targets: securing over $100,000 in corporate donations (including 12 sponsored packing parties), substantially increasing individual recurring giving, and raising an additional $50,000 through four dedicated community fundraisers in the Portland area.
Every year, we aim to help more women battling cancer feel strong and beautiful. This year, we are looking to significantly expand Fighting Pretty’s impact, helping over 10,000 women battling cancer through the delivery of Strength and Beauty Kits, Pretty Packages, and empowering events.
